With up to a 21 cubic foot capacity, the Yakima SkyBox series of car top carriers are available in four sizes to carry a large combination of gear during a family road trip or everyday commuting. Constructed of durable ABS plastic, Yakima SkyBox car top carriers provide you with more space inside your vehicle and your gear with a high level of protection. Plus, you don’t have to worry about jogging around the car to access your stuff, because the SkyBox is just as easy to open from either side of the car. No tools are required for installation onto square, round, or factory installed roof racks. Once the cargo box is clamped into place, the aerodynamic design minimizes wind noise and drag. An integrated track system is designed into the interior of the cargo box for the later addition of a cargo net or cargo pad to give your gear an even higher level of protection while on the go. Two SKS locks are included for added security, while additional safety is offered by the Super Latch Security System that ensures the lid stays secured to the base of the Yakima SkyBox car top carriers.
