Offered in three different lengths, the Yakima round load bars offer superior strength and durability. Constructed of pre-galvanized, welded steel tubing, round bars are 15% stronger than competitive square bars, while the polyethylene coating offers additional durability and corrosion protection. An additional advantage of round bars is their ability to allow accessories to be rotated flat when not in use for improved overhead clearance and aerodynamics. Load bars cannot be installed without the proper accompanying foot pack, and some may require a fit kit as well.
